Purple Circle is Bigly's curated community.

It brings together a select group of people who want to be closer to the process behind the restaurant — not just the plate in front of them.

Inside the Circle, conversations extend beyond the meal. Ideas shared at the table shape future menus, experiences, and the directions Bigly chooses to explore.

It’s an ongoing exchange — where dialogue influences decisions, and where the table becomes part of how Bigly evolves.

Community Guidelines

1. Membership & Access

Bigly is a curated community. Access is intentional and based on alignment, not volume. Showing interest does not guarantee entry, and entry does not guarantee permanence. Membership is maintained through continued participation and respect for the space.

2. Who it is for

We do not define what makes someone interesting. It is subjective, evolving, and revealed over time through curiosity, perspective, and presence. This ambiguity is deliberate and central to the community’s culture.

3. Use of the Space

Bigly is a shared space designed for conversation and connection. It is not a platform for self-promotion, pitching, or performance. Members are encouraged to engage thoughtfully, whether that means speaking, listening, or simply being present.

4. Behaviour & Conduct

Respect for the space and for others is expected at all times. This includes respecting differing viewpoints, personal boundaries, and the pace of conversations. Behaviour that disrupts the experience for others or shifts focus away from the collective will not be encouraged.

5. Scale & Growth

The size of the community is intentionally limited. Growth decisions are made with care to preserve the quality of interaction and the overall experience. Expansion will only happen if it strengthens the community, not dilutes it.

6. Belonging

Belonging in the Bigly community is built over time. It develops through consistent presence, shared respect, and genuine engagement. It is not claimed; it is earned quietly.

7. Evolution

These guidelines are not fixed rules. They will evolve as the community grows and learns. The intent behind them, to protect the quality, tone, and purpose of the community, will remain constant.

8. Digital Engagement

The community’s values extend to all digital interactions. Members are expected to engage respectfully in online spaces, including forums, chats, and social media mentions. Sharing content should reflect curiosity, inclusivity, and respect.

9. Active Participation

This is a participatory community. Members are expected to engage in at least 25% of community activities, conversations, or initiatives to remain active and get the most value from the space.

10. Membership Identification

All community members will be issued an official physical membership card upon joining. This card serves as proof of active membership and will be required for access to events or member-only experiences. If a member does not carry their membership card, they will be required to present another valid form of identification for verification.
